So who is this “Loose Screw” guy, and why should I hire him?
To anyone who doesn’t know me yet, I'd like to introduce myself and my business “Loose Screw Handyman Services.” I chose a fun/funny name because I wanted something memorable that would stand out (and also because I thought it would make for really cool t-shirts 🙂). Although I try not to take myself too seriously, when it comes to my work and your home I promise that I am very thorough and extremely professional.
I am a Bethel Park homeowner with a full-time day job and a family, and I come from a family full of different tradesmen. I spent around fifteen years working in various trades myself before completing my education and getting into my current career in construction management. I enjoy what I do, but I often miss the satisfaction that comes from working with my hands.
I’m starting this business to supplement my current income, help build a better future for my family, and as an outlet for that creative drive that I still have. I’d like a chance to put my talents to good use helping others with some of their “to-do” lists as well.
So what makes me different than all the other guys out there with some tools and a truck? As a homeowner, I’ve planned my day around a service person who didn’t show up. I’ve learned that the disappointment in a job not done properly lasts much longer than the satisfaction of saving a few dollars with the lowest bidder. I plan to treat your projects like my own. I’m honest, I communicate well, and I do what I say I’m going to do. I want to be better for you than those guys that didn’t show up for me, or cut corners and left me disappointed.
As far as my availability goes, I need to keep my “day job”, so I’m looking to help my neighbors during evening and weekend hours – times that are hopefully more convenient for you as well. I’m available after 3 most weekdays and can work most weekends. So give me a call the next time you have a “loose screw”, or a household project that is more than you’re up to taking care of on your own. I look forward to hearing from you, and helping with your next project!
